LangChain is hiring a Fullstack Engineer focused on Enterprise Readiness & Identity to build the features that make our platform secure, compliant, and scalable for enterprise customers. This is a high-impact role on a newly formed team working at the intersection of authentication, authorization, security, compliance, and admin tooling. You’ll collaborate closely with product, infra, GTM, and our largest enterprise users to shape the foundation of our enterprise offerings. As a Fullstack Engineer on this team, you’ll lead development of seamless, scalable flows for enterprise authentication and access control and contribute to the systems and tooling that make LangChain enterprise-ready by default. This role will be in person 5 days/week in New York City, San Francisco, or Boston.
Build key enterprise features across our stack (TypeScript, Python, Go)
Develop and evolve our billing infrastructure. Build the core system that powers invoicing and usage-based charges and enables flexible pricing model changes.
Design and implement robust authentication and user provisioning flows (SAML, SCIM, OAuth2)
Build role-based access control (RBAC) and permissions systems for enterprise teams
Develop admin dashboards and org-level settings for audit logging, usage limits, and billing
Implement granular metering and usage tracking to support LangChain’s largest customers
Collaborate with internal teams on SOC2, GDPR, and other enterprise compliance needs
Optimize enterprise onboarding and tenant provisioning for scale and ease of use
Collaborate cross-functionally with product engineering, design, infra, security, GTM, and product
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
Work with enterprise customers to understand and translate their needs into secure, scalable platform capabilities
Extensive fullstack software development experience using React, TypeScript for frontend and Go and/or Python for backend
Deep knowledge of authentication and identity (OAuth2, SAML, JWTs, etc.)
Experience building access control systems (RBAC, ABAC, etc.)
Familiarity with APIs, Postgres, Redis, and modern backend infra
Comfortable navigating security, compliance, and enterprise-scale architecture
Startup DNA with the ability to thrive in fast-paced unstructured environments
Self directed with an ownership mindset
Experience building for enterprise customers and/or compliance-heavy environments
Background in security, observability, or developer platforms would be a bonus
Familiarity with LLMs, GenAI applications, or agentic frameworks would be a bonus
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, meaningful equity, and benefits such as health and dental coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, and life insurance. Actual compensation will vary based on role, level, and location. For team members in the EU and UK, we provide locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations. Salary Range: $175,000 - $195,000
