Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Research Scientist specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and real-world product development. You will design, train, and optimize LLMs that enable our Digital Twins to adapt to individual styles, maintain long-term memory, and execute tasks reliably in enterprise environments.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute both novel research and production-ready innovation, directly shaping the core intelligence behind our platform.

What You’ll Do:

Research & Innovation

• Design and advance methods in LLM fine-tuning, personalization, and memory-augmented architectures.
• Explore approaches for grounding LLMs in enterprise knowledge graphs, workflows, and user-specific data.

Model Development

• Develop scalable training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines for large models.
• Investigate efficiency improvements (distillation, quantization, retrieval augmentation, MoE architectures) to reduce cost while improving accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering to bring research into production.

Collaboration & Impact

• Partner with product and design to translate research breakthroughs into features that impact users directly.
• Work with fellow researchers across NLP, ML, and cognitive modeling to advance Viven’s scientific agenda.
• Contribute to the broader AI community through open-source, publications, or collaborations.iteration.

What You’ll Bring:

Academic & Research Background

• PhD (or equivalent research experience) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or related field.
• Strong publication record at top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP).

Technical Expertise

• Deep understanding of transformers, attention mechanisms, and scaling laws for LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with pretraining, fine-tuning, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), and instruction-tuning.
• Strong background in optimization, evaluation metrics, and safety alignment.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow, and familiarity with distributed training frameworks (DeepSpeed, FSDP, Megatron).
