What You’ll Do
-Accountable for operational excellence, process engineering, lab, and EHS at all East Texas locations
-Lead process engineering scopes from concept and modeling validation, through procurement, engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and ramp
-Lead selected commissioning activities of new sites
-Work in cross functional teams with engineering, operations, maintenance, and software functions.
-Build first-principles-based models of chemical unit operations to validate and scale-up designs
-Identify, evaluate, and implement engineering solutions to optimize processes, confirming functionality and performance under various operating conditions.
-Work closely with the software and machine learning teams to automate capital project and refinery execution workflows
What You’ll Bring
-Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and demonstrated ability to leverage the understanding to solve challenging problems
-Experience with process engineering and design. Including but not limited to:
-Evaluation and optimization of operating equipment
-Commissioning experience of new equipment and processes
-Experience with the following industries and/or production environments:
-Large-scale mining or mineral processing
-Large-scale chemical production processes
